In Congress, I continue to introduce bills that will provide affordable solar energy for communities across the country, invest in more efficient and resilient energy, and keep corporations accountable while incentivizing the creation of more renewable energy.
During my time in the LA City Council, I created more parks, closed landfills, created a clean recycling facility, and water reclamation facilities. Working with the LADWP, I helped establish initiatives that would help them generate over 30% of their electricity from renewable energy by the year 2020.
